Major retail bank goes live with focus:360° consumer from Focus Solutions

Focus Solutions, the leading provider of multi-channel distribution software to the global financial services industry, is pleased to announce that they have successfully deployed focus:360° consumer with a major UK retail bank to enable their execution only, ‘Direct to Consumer’ (D2C) portal.

The D2C portal, which has been successfully running since March this year, was implemented to enable the bank’s customers to purchase ISAs and general investments from their internet banking site. Users, on completing a secure consumer registration process, are able to research, plan and buy a range of products and funds as well as review their overall portfolio and alter any previous investments made. The portal also fully integrates with the bank’s business partner’s investment platform to enable the end to end process. 

Since its launch, the volume of business and traffic delivered through the D2C portal has significantly exceeded the bank’s expectations and there are ongoing plans to extend the range of products supported through the site throughout 2011 and 2012.
