On the 25th November 2008 the FSA issued "Feedback Statement 08/6" on the Retail Distribution Review (RDR); a document that defines the shape of their final proposals and states their intentions regarding implementation. Hence, whilst there is clearly a lot of detail still to emerge, we now have some certainty regarding the future shape of the retail distribution landscape.

This white paper seeks to understand, from a strategic perspective, the broad impact of these proposals and suggests which distribution models are most likely to succeed within this new emerging landscape.
