Within the UK, the FSA's Retail Distribution Review (RDR) is set to go live from 31st December 2012 and is already is starting to change the way that retail investment products are being sold and serviced across the UK. Many companies are deep in the middle of planning their implementations -- not just to meet the basic compliance needs but also to explore new business models and propositions.
